Rev. Paul Cullity became our called pastor in February of 2020.  Rev. Paul Cullity serves as pastor and teacher to the Madbury UCC Church. Before that, he served the academic and spiritual communities of Southwestern New Hampshire  and Cape Cod for over four decades.  He has been a Campus Minister, a History professor, a parish minister, a Hospice chaplain, a freelance lecturer for ElderHostel, and a folk musician. He and his wife Mary share a deep interest in Celtic spirituality, having been members in the Northumbria Community, a Celtic Christian network, since it began in 1992. He and his wife Mary live in Dover, and have three adult children, Paul, Jessica, and Timothy, who all live in New England.  You can contact Rev. Cullity by email at: pastor@madburychurch.org
The Church Musician
Nancy Pierpont, long time member, has stepped in to be our church musician as we look for someone to replace Barbara LaBranche.

The choir practices on Wednesday evenings and sings at our Sunday worship service.  If you have an interest in being the Director.Accompanist for an imperfect 8 member voulunteer STAB Choir at an Open and Affirming church, Nancy would love to hear from your.  Email her at: nancy.j.pape@gmail.com
Although we are a small church, we believe that we are called to make a difference in our community and beyond. Our local, national and international missions and our partnership with Maranatha Indonesian United Church of Christ which shares of space and with which we are enriched to share programming, are central to our life as a church.

We enjoy a relaxed traditional service with time to greet one another in the Passing of the Peace. We value the music, the Prayers of the People, and a challenging and inspirational sermon that sustains us throughout the week.  We also encourage the congregation, including the children, to participate and contribute to the service, enabling us to express our individual insights and images of God.  We believe such sharing enhances our learning and understanding of the many facets of God's greatness.

The Congregation
The Pastor
Our congregation consists of about 45 active members. In an ecumenical spirit, we welcome a number of friends who join us regularly for worship and fellowship.  Our services and programs are enjoyed by our multi-generational community.  Our talented and enthusiastic choir graces our services with a musical dimension.  Thanks to the hard work and generosity many of our members, we have a modern classroom and kitchen.
